It all started with Marc Jacobs’ oversize silk bunny ears for the Fall 2009 collection for Louis Vuitton. Then came the lace animal ears from Maison Michel, famously worn by the Olsens on a trip to Japan. And now it’s time for the high-street version, thanks to Topshop. We’ve loved this whimsical trend from the start, and now that we can get a stylish pair of bunny ears for less than $40, there’s no reason not to at least try the look on for size. If wearing them to a soirée seems a bit silly, we suggest donning them for the debut of Tim Burton‘s Alice in Wonderland as an homage to the White Rabbit and March Hare. Now, hop to it!
