Neutral Territory

-------

The “no makeup” makeup trend has always baffled us. Somehow, it takes more time to look like we aren’t wearing any eyeliner than it does to swipe on a dash of black liquid and be done with it. But with Fall runways from Marc to Calvin filled with fresh young things as bare-faced as can be, we’ve decided to take the less-is-more look for a test-drive. Buttoned Up

-------

After last week’s Get the Look feature, silky blouses have shot up to the top of our must-have-this-minute list. Alice + Olivia‘s ruched version is a fun spin on the classic closet staple, with slightly skewed proportions for a bit of visual interest. Whether paired with Fall’s menswear-inspired suiting or with denim cutoffs à la Alexa Chung, it will carry you easily into next season. Click the image to shop.
