Spring 2010 Preview

Storm King
If Risto Bimbiloski isn't the first Macedonian designer to show in New York (Abbie Cornish favorite Toni Maticevski beat him to it), he's the only one with stints at Jean Colonna, Thierry Mugler, and Louis Vuitton menswear—with Marc Jacobs as a mentor—on his résumé. Bimbiloski's Spring debut will focus on knitwear and prints of "beautiful, dangerous, and random phenomena." Think volcanoes and storms—intended, he says, for a woman who has "a kind of dark, elegant, and slightly dangerous style." Front-row watch: Jacobs may attend.
