The Top Ten Scenesters
Amy Sacco
Libation location: Bungalow 8 (then); Cinema Society screening (now)
Wearing: Heels
Plus-one: Yvonne Force Villareal
Circa 2010, Amy Sacco—the blonde, buxom, six-foot-one good-time gal—is a near ubiquitous presence on the New York social scene. Circa 2001, she was the scene. Sacco's contributions to Manhattan nightlife over the last decade or so—Lot 61, Bette, and, drum roll please, Bungalow 8—defined a mini-era of celebrity debauchery. Everyone from Bill Clinton to Paris Hilton basked or table-danced in Bungalow's paparazzi-free, palm frond oasis, leading Vanity Fair to anoint Sacco "Queen of the Night" in 2004. Bungalow has been "closed for renovations" for some time, but given Sacco's recent thwarted attempts at reality TV stardom, we think it might be time for her to get those contractors moving.
