The road to award winner is not an easy one. After being chosen from more than 100 applications from up-and-coming fashion designers, the ten CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists began an arduous five-month-long process in the hopes of winning the $200,000 grand prize and—perhaps even more coveted—mentorship and guidance for their business from seasoned designers and executives. The nail-biting challenge culminated on the evening of November 15 during the spectacular, star-studded Seventh on Sale Gala at the Armory in New York with the highly anticipated announcement.
