CAMELLIAS IN THE AIR

Coco Chanel first wore the camellia to offset her little black dress in the 1920s. Today it has become an iconic emblem of the Chanel Fine Jewelry collection. Expect the flower to be a centerpiece this December when the brand teams up with the New York Botanical Garden for what is sure to be one of the best parties of the year, the Winter Wonderland Ball.

Chanel Secret Camellia brooch, $1,895, and watch, $345,000

brooch: select Chanel boutiques, (800) 550-0005; watch: chanel.com.
